New this Friday April 8th 2011

There are 5 movies coming out this Friday. Dead Siskels are planning on checking out at least a few of the films. Below are the trailers and a blurb on what I think, have a look.

Arthur
A comedy film and remake (of course) of the 1981 film of the same name. It stars Russell Brand as Arthur, a drunken playboy who stands to lose a wealthy inheritance when he falls for a woman his family doesn't like.
  •  Looks like it might have a few laughs but not much else.

Born To Be Wild: An IMAX 3D Experience

An inspired story of love, dedication and the remarkable bond between humans and animals. This film documents orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them. All narrated by Morgan Freeman.
  •  Looks like a great documentary and should be a treat for the eyes and maybe even pull on the old heart strings.

Hanna
Raised by her father, an ex-CIA agent, in Finland, Hanna has been made into the perfect assassin. Sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys across Europe while evading agents that are after her by a intelligence operative with secrets of her own.
  •  Looks interesting, kinda a mix of The Bourne movies with a little twist.

Soul Surfer
The inspiring true story of teen surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack and courageously overcame all odds to become a champion again.
  •  Not a huge contender for this weekend but still a pretty amazing true story.

Your Highness
Danny McBride and James Franco team up for an epic comedy adventure set in the time of nights and dragons. As two princes on a daring mission to save their land, they must rescue a soon to be princess before their kingdom is destroyed.
  • The creators of Pineapple Express have put out this little gem, which I'm sure will have laughs but will be similar to every other Danny McBride movie we have all seen. Oh and Natalie "I'm in every movie now" Portman is in it too, in case you haven't seen a movie with her in it in a while......ya.

Stay tuned for a few reviews this weekend. What would you like to see reviewed the most? Let me know in the comments section below.
